Star Trails Workshop Information

Attendees will be responsible for their own travel during the workshop, meals, and overnight accommodations.   I recommend the following accommodations:

• Mel's Place (Camping in Study Butte) - Recommended only during cooler months since you will be trying to sleep during the days.

• Far Flung Casitas (Terlingua)

• La Posada Milagro (Terlingua)

• Big Bend Holiday Hotel (Terlingua)

We will be meeting daily around 5 pm near the park entrance or the Study Butte area. On most nights, we will shoot till about 1 to 2 am.​

​

Skill Level:   Attendees should be familiar with basic principles of night photography and manipulating their camera in the dark.  

​

We will be hiking up to 1 mile each way on uneven surfaces and inclines/slopes.

​

The deposit is required to secure your spot.  The final payment will be due 90 days prior to the workshop.  You will receive an email reminder with an invoice to pay your balance.   Alumni will receive 15% off the entire workshop costs.  This discount will be reflected on the final payment.

Final payment will be due 90 days prior to the workshop.  You will be sent an invoice approximately 90 days prior to the workshop to make the final payment. After the final payment is received or about 1 month prior to the workshop, a detailed itinerary and workshop guide will be sent to you with further details.

By placing a deposit to reserve your spot, you agree to the Cancellation Policy. 

 

You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours after deposit payment.

 

Workshop attendees are responsible for their lodging, travel, and food.
