WE SUPPORT
Each year part of your workshop cost go to help fund the following causes and support our National Parks and dark skies:

International Dark Sky Association
Less than 100 years ago, everyone could look up and see a spectacular starry night sky. Now, millions of children across the globe will never experience the Milky Way where they live. The increased and widespread use of artificial light at night is not only impairing our view of the universe, it is adversely affecting our environment, safety, energy consumption, and our health, including migration patterns of species.

National Parks Foundation
The National Parks Foundation is the official nonprofit partner of the National Park Service, receiving private support to fund, protect, and enhance America’s national parks.

Big Bend Conservation Alliance
The Big Bend Conservation Alliance works to conserve the living heritage and unique natural and cultural resources of the greater Big Bend region of Texas.

The McDonald Observatory
The McDonald Observatory is a research unit of The University of Texas at Austin and one of the world's leading centers for astronomical research, teaching, and public education and outreach.
